Maybe that’s why Spokane actor Tim Behrens and humor writer Patrick McManus’ one-man play, “McManus in Love,” is a hit time after time wherever it’s performed. Behrens is once again bringing the hilarity of McManus, the Outdoor Life columnist and best-selling author, to Skagit Valley with a performance at 7 p. Many of the favorite characters from McManus’ former books and columns return to provide the boys with all the tips they’ll need to woo the girls of their choice. They met up again when Behrens was recording books on tape in Spokane, and McManus needed a speech recorded for a national publisher’s convention in New York. read more
