(Dating News) Happiness Makeovers (Psychology Today)

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

She consulted with oncologists, a macrobiotic chef, an acupuncturist, and a shaggy-haired spiritual guru, among others, and documented her efforts in a film that aired on The Learning Channel, Crazy Sexy Cancer . Before her diagnosis, Carr was struggling emotionally but viewed changing her life as difficult, even impossible. Her good salary as a commercial actress didn’t allay feelings of frustration and insecurity, given the grueling nature of auditioning. Sure, “All the Mornings of the World” is a lusty love story but the real reason to see the film is the music (played by Jordi Savall). The Tallahassee Film Society will switch from classical music to crowd-pleasing fare when it presents a sneak screening of the romantic comedy “Play the Game” at 5 p. read more
